Harry Katopodis
Podiatrist
A new graduate Podiatrist with a strong interest in sports and musculoskeletal podiatry. I am passionate about helping athletes return to sport safely, confidently, and performing at their best. My key clinical interests include football boot fittings, nail surgery, plantar fasciitis rehabilitation, running assessments, and the management of running-related injuries.
I have a particular interest in acute and complex foot and ankle conditions, including tendinopathies, Achilles injuries, plantar heel pain, forefoot pain, foot and ankle stress reactions and stress fractures, and running-related overload syndromes.
Endorsed to prescribe scheduled medicines, I integrate evidence-based pharmacological management when appropriate to support pain reduction and recovery. My approach focuses on complete performance restoration, supporting patients not only through injury rehabilitation but also in returning to sport at their highest possible level.
Drawing on a strong athletic background including high-level football (soccer), running, hiking, and padel, I have a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands of training, competition, and rehabilitation. Outside the clinic, I enjoy playing football, being a one-eyed Richmond supporter, hiking through Bali’s volcanoes, riding along the Yarra trails, and spending time in summer beer gardens with mates.
I am committed to ongoing professional development in sports medicine, ensuring his clinical practice remains aligned with current scientific evidence and high-performance rehabilitation principles.
