ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

High-Performance Training — From Elite to Everyday

Elevate your athletic performance. Minimise injuries. Train with intent.

At Life Performance Sports Medicine (LPSM), we help elite, sub-elite, and everyday amateur athletes perform at their best — and stay there.
Our Athletic Performance Program bridges the gap between elite-level systems and real-world athletes, delivering structured, individualised training backed by elite-standard testing technology and clinicians with extensive experience in high-performance sport.

Your Performance Plan

Step 1 – Performance Assessment

Your journey starts with a comprehensive assessment including:

  • Injury history and current concerns
  • Training age and competition demands
  • Current loads and performance goals

This ensures your training improves performance without increasing injury risk.

Step 2 – Objective Testing

You’ll undergo elite-standard testing to identify the physical qualities limiting your performance.

This data forms the backbone of your individualised program.

Step 3 – High-Performance Training Program

You’ll complete a structured performance program delivered over:

  • 6 or 12 weeks
  • 2 coached sessions per week

Training focuses on:

  • Strength and power development
  • Speed, agility, and movement efficiency
  • Load management to support durability

Step 4 – Re-Testing & Progression

We re-test key metrics to:

  • Confirm meaningful improvements
  • Guide your next training phase
  • Transition you into advanced or maintenance programming

Progress isn’t assumed — it’s proven.

This is where elite thinking meets everyday commitment.

Elite-Standard Performance Testing

We use elite-level testing technology to objectively identify:

  • Strength and power deficits Left–right asymmetries
  • Force production and rate of force development
  • Movement inefficiencies that limit performance or increase injury risk

This removes guesswork and ensures your training targets what matters most for your sport.
If it can be measured, it can be improved.

Elite Experience, Applied to Real Athletes
Our clinicians bring:

  • Postgraduate training in high-performance sport
  • Extensive experience in elite sporting environments
  • Direct involvement in the rehabilitation and return-to-performance of athletes recovering from major injuries, including ACL reconstruction

That elite experience shapes how we work with everyday amateur athletes — applying professional standards without professional-level time demands.

Whether you’re an ambitious amateur, returning from injury, or pushing toward higher-level competition, we’ll meet you where you are – and raise the standard.

Elite thinking. Everyday application. Real results.
